Here’s another vid from the motorcycle trip I took this summer.  My friend Daniel Martin edited the footage into a music video for his band, Surrogate. The track, ‘Can’t go Home’ is from their upcoming new album. I’m really digging the sleepy nostalgic feel of the song combined with the shaky, lo-fi, home-movie looking footage.

We brought along a few Go-Pro video cameras as well. My buddy daniel put this video together to get people off his back who where asking about the trip while he works on the real feature. There’s a lot of good footage to come!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I’ve been crazy busy lately. I moved back to California from Seattle and I’ve been getting settled in. I also just finished scanning the 16 rolls of film I took from my epic motorcycle adventure. The previous images were all taken with my iPhone, but these will be the real deal.

Overall, the trip was awesome. We rode over 8400 miles. It was the experience of a lifetime, and I’ll be doing more trips like these in the future. Alaska in the summer is our next tentative plan which will take place in 2014. Can’t wait! If you hate pics of people looking awesome on motorcycles, you may want to ignore my posts for the next few months. :)
